Meet Dr. Sattler

Dr. Dylan Sattler grew up in the Yakima Valley where he was the valedictorian at La Salle High School. Dr. Sattler then received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Gonzaga University in 2014. Dr. Sattler then attended the University of Washington for Dental School, specifically one of 8 students every year picked to be a part of the R.I.D.E. program geared towards serving rural underserved areas. It was during his time in the R.I.D.E. program that he spent 6 months at the Yakima Valley Farmworkers Clinic. Directly after dental school, Dr. Sattler spent an additional 3 years at the University of Washington specializing in Periodontics and Implants, graduating in 2022 with a Certificate in Periodontology and a Master's degree in Dentistry. Dr. Sattler spent 3 years as a periodontist in Bozeman, Montana before returning home to practice in Yakima starting in 2025. His career has come full circle now, having first started shadowing Dr. Iasella while in high school from 2007-2010!

Dr. Sattler's research while in residency was published in the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry.

Dylan met his wife Abbey while in graduate school and they married in 2019. They now have 3 young children and enjoy everything outdoors.
